Sky Medal is not only a classic of the 90's Mizuno running catalogues, but has since become a staple of the brand's sportstyle collection. Sky Medal is a versatile style which offers the ideal canvas to this exciting project between Mizuno and Pieter Ceizer, a Paris-based artist and typographer from Amsterdam. The shoe's graphic look is enhanced thanks to subtle contrasts between a white and off-white upper, a speckled heel and a brightly coloured sock. The sock construction and the leather and mesh upper strike the perfect balance between the athletic past of the shoe and its raw urban appeal, while the iconic 'Runbird' branding on the midsection being only edged with orange. The insole sports the signature multicolored pattern already seen on the Wave Skyrise, tying the two together in one unique pack.
